Men’s shoes this season embody the traditional designs of the past, but with a modern sensibility. Classic materials used for vintage shoe designs are now experiencing an update. For example, chunky rubber soles are now being put on Saddle shoes. Traditional brown leather for loafers are currently being dyed in an ombre style. What is the mood this year for men’s shoes? According to various trend reports, humor played a big role for the inspiration of designs. The styles were obviously dapper but had an element of lighthearted whimsey. This was evident; the men’s shoe brand Mr. Raro added mustaches to their classic loafers. Consumers are opting for shoes with more color for spring.  Neutral tones with bold red, yellow, and green shades dominated the color palette this season. Engraved leather is also trending. Bespoke has created a line of shoes with engraved cursive writing along the sides.

Blended color combinations and aged textured leather is luxuriously vintage and easy to style. The more worn the better.
