There’s more to being an actor than just talent. It’s a discipline and skill that can only be mastered by individuals with focus, and a true passion for the craft. Model Gia Skova is not just an incredible actress, but also a director, filmmaker, and co-founder of Valholl Production. How does she do it? How does Gia Skove manage to achieve such stellar acclaim in so many facets of entertainment? It’s definitely not easy. Gia’s versatile life came from a tough upbringing and a persistent will to be iconic. Her beauty and charm is evident, and her achievements are well-known throughout the industry. Still, there is so much more to discover about Gia.

She was an orphan. At the age of 4, Gia sadly lost both her parents in a car accident. Fortunately, she had supportive foster parents who took care of her. Born in the small village of Saratov outside of Kazakhstan, Russia; Gia began her acting career at the age of 12. Some of Russia’s most popular retailers chose her for print ads, and broadcast commercials. Next came T.V. series opportunities, which gave her career even more momentum. By the age of 15, Gia had already become a celebrity in her native country.
Her name became internationally known. Gia continued to model throughout Europe, and act in several theatrical productions. She starred alongside Olga Kurylenko in Clive Tonge’s film MARA. More international movie creds followed. Gia co-starred in the film HUMAN FACTOR along with Eric Roberts, which was filmed in New York City. She’s also graced the cover of quite a few international magazines; L’Offical, Glamour (UA), and Metropolitan magazine, just to name a few. Her most recent project is THE SERPENT. It’s a high-impact action thriller about special CIA agent Lucinda Kavsky, who’s sent on an assignment, but then betrayed by her own agency. Gia flexes her muscles (literally) as a director and actress.
That movie is Gia’s directorial debut, and she did all her own stunts! It was a challenge. In interviews, she talked about admiring Ben Affleck’s ability to be in front of and behind the camera. Gia also loves Tom Cruise’s movies and mused about being cast in his Mission Impossible films. It’s no surprise that one of her two upcoming projects is an actual true-life spy movie. Her second film is also an action-adventure; her version of Cinderella. Although the titles of these films cannot be released, rest assured that if Gia plays a part, it will be unforgettable.
What’s left to conquer? Although Gia believes she’ll never reach the plateau for everything she wants to do, she understands there is always room for improvement. Due to her upbringing, she had to find her inner light, and keep motivated. Gia overcame obstacles to become the starlet she is now. She does have aspirations to continue filmmaking and opening a children’s center; where they can practice and learn to create value in the world. Giving young souls the opportunity to achieve great things will build confidence in our future generations.
