When it comes to fashion, the most difficult part is developing a voice. Victoria Beckham is a music and style icon whose brand is evident in her style. Her recent resort wear collection is riddled with her elegant essence and creative design aesthetic. This collection is her 4th line for resort wear. Her signature design flare is her neutral-toned color palette and of course, the asymmetrical silhouette. The collection featured textured two-piece sets, and one-piece A-line dresses, with intricately placed fringe. There were plenty of relaxed silhouettes; the ankle-length tweed dresses with cleverly placed belts and button closures were impressive. The fabrics are light and untraditional. Lightweight tweed, raw Japanese denim, and knits made this collection seasonally versatile. Speaking of fabrics, the evening gowns made of silk with floral patterns were stunning. Victoria Beckham always manages to sprinkle a bit of glam in various pieces. The sequin closures on the lace wrap dresses were ethereal and delicate. Finally, the last beautiful note to this collection was the evening gowns. They were draped to perfection with creative design to the bust. Overall this collection was sexy and represents extreme quality. Victoria Beckham’s 2016 resort wear is unforgettable.
